MWS offers a comprehensive range of Movable wall servicing and repairs options for all types of moveable walls, sliding partitions and folding partitions, all of which are designed to maximise product usability, safe use and to provide an extended life cycle.

At MWS we offer a range of servicing packages, from one-off bespoke works, and preventative annual 3 or 5-year contracts, allowing customers to choose the right service to suit their need. Preplanning for the worst, and undertaking one of our preventative annual movable wall servicing contract plans safeguards against extensive and thus expensive damage, minimising any potential costs and inoperability periods, reducing downtime and ensuring flawless operation.

When you arrange a movable wall service with MWS you can expect:

  • Fully trained CSCS approved, HSE compliant, asbestos aware, and DBS checked moveable wall engineers
  • A complete and full inspection of your moveable wall as per our comprehensive service checklist stated below
  • All required parts or mechanisms replaced as per the service engineer’s inspection
  • All new parts and labour guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Your wall’s compliance with all health and safety laws and regulations

Packages and offerings

MWS offers numerous packages to cover the servicing of your moveable walls and sliding partitions. These range from a one off, single, general service to comprehensive 3 and 5 year packages to ensure that your moveable wall always works to its full design capability and within the necessary HSE compliance Regulations at all times.

One/Off General service (recommended every 12 months) includes:

  •  *Free Initial site survey
  • Check overall condition and operation of your system
  • Check and adjust as necessary fixings of head track and head track joint alignment
  • Light oil / chemical clean of all track running surfaces
  • Check supporting track roller assemblies and guide wheels for condition and roller bearing free play movement
  • Check all acoustic seals and operation (including most semi-automated variants)
  • Full lubrication maintenance programme
  • Clean panel faces, vertical edge profiles and head track external surfaces
  • Check wall abutments for alignment, fixing and condition of sealant where applicable
  • 12 months guarantee for all works undertaken.

A Price Guide can be provided without the need for an engineer’s visit by advising us of the following: E.g.  Age of system (approx.), type of system, opening sizes, and number of panels,

 

 

A service contract 3 years includes:

  • 1 free site inspection once every 12 months for 36 month period
  • Check overall condition and operation of your system
  • Check the top supporting suspension rods and bracing (and clearance) for structural faults
  • Check and adjust as necessary fixings of head track and head track joint alignment
  • Check alignment of panels, and level where necessary
  • Check horizontal and vertical profile and facing board fixings – adjust where necessary
  • Light oil / chemical clean of all track running surfaces
  • Check supporting track roller assemblies and guide wheels for condition and roller bearing free play movement
  • Check all acoustic seals and operation (including most semi-automated variants)
  • Full lubrication maintenance programme
  • Clean panel faces, vertical edge profiles and head track external surfaces
  • Inspect magnetic seal in the profile and replace any missing or damaged sections (as applicable)
  • Check wall abutments for alignment, fixing and condition of sealant where applicable
  • Inspect the door ironmongery and hinges for tightness and signs of wear
  • Test and commission the system
  • Completion certificate and guarantee of works undertaken (36 months) for health and safety records

 

 

A service contract 5 years includes:

  • 1 free site inspection once every 12 months for 60 month period
  • Check overall condition and operation of your system
  • Check the top supporting suspension rods and bracing (and clearance) for structural faults
  • Check and adjust as necessary fixings of head track and head track joint alignment
  • Check alignment of panels, and level where necessary
  • Check horizontal and vertical profile and facing board fixings – adjust where necessary
  • Light oil / chemical clean of all track running surfaces
  • Check supporting track roller assemblies and guide wheels for condition and roller-bearing free play movement
  • Check all acoustic seals and operation (including most semi-automated variants)
  • Full lubrication maintenance programme
  • Clean panel faces, vertical edge profiles and head track external surfaces
  • Inspect magnetic seal in the profile and replace any missing or damaged sections (as applicable)
  • Check wall abutments for alignment, fixing and condition of sealant where applicable
  • Inspect the door ironmongery and hinges for tightness and signs of wear
  • Check TE gearbox and adjust/lubricate or repair if broken
  • Test and commission the system
  • Completion certificate and guarantee of works undertaken (60 months) for health and safety records
  • Full training and induction on the correct operation of the panels to staff
  • Renovate panels where cosmetic damage is apparent
  • Full comprehensive cleaning of the panel faces and edge profiles and repainting of the aluminium track as required subject to site conditions and terms of contract
